Quinceaneras dresses run differently than everyday clothes. Enter your measurements in inches below to find your recommended Quinceañera dress size.

📏 How to Measure +

For the most accurate results, have someone else measure you while you wear the undergarments you plan to wear with your dress.

Bust: Measure across the fullest part of your bust and straight around your back. Keep the tape measure comfortably loose.
Waist: Measure around your natural waistline. This is the narrowest part of your torso, usually about 1 to 2 inches above your belly button.
Hips: Stand with your feet together and measure around the fullest part of your hips and rear.
Hollow to Hem (Length): Measure from the center of your collarbone (the hollow) straight down to the floor. Make sure to wear shoes with the same heel height you plan to wear at your Quinceañera!

📏 Hollow-to-Hem Length +

Keep in mind: This measurement is not required for 90% of dresses, but is very helpful for taller girls.

Where: From the hollow at the base of your throat (the small indent between your collarbones) straight down to where you want the hem to fall.
How: Stand straight wearing the heels you plan to use. Measure from the hollow to the floor or desired hem length.
Record as: Hollow-to-hem — ___ inches / cm

Hourglass: Your bust and hips are roughly the same size, with a very clearly defined, narrow waist. Best Dress: Sweetheart Mermaid or a tightly corseted full Ball Gown.
Pear / Triangle: Your hips are wider than your bust and shoulders. Best Dress: A traditional A-Line or Ball Gown with off-the-shoulder sleeves to balance your upper body.
Inverted Triangle: Your shoulders and bust are wider than your hips. Best Dress: A Princess-cut ball gown with a highly voluminous, layered tulle skirt to add lower-body fullness.
Apple / Round: Your waist measurement is close to or larger than your bust/hips, and you carry weight in your midsection. Best Dress: Empire-waist gowns or structured corsets with an A-line skirt.
Rectangle: Your bust, waist, and hips are roughly the same measurements. Best Dress: A cinched corset-waist dress that physically creates the illusion of curves.
